Recruiting and Managing the “Millenniums” or “Generation Y”

The forum will address strategies to recruit global talent, including international students for placement in the U.S. or home country of origin to fill labor shortages in the fields of business and technology in Eastern Asia, India, Mexico, South America, the United States and more. Learn about the new NACE initiative to launch an international virtual career fair with 100s of colleges and universities who partner with Fortune 1000 employers.
The program is designed to provide a forum of information and collaboration for Talent Sourcing Professionals who are recruiting candidates for positions in business, technology, engineering and science. In addition, a special focus will include the latest research on the characteristics of recruiting college graduates at the Bachelors, Masters and PhD levels, with an emphasis placed on generational differences in the recruiting process.
Specific topics to be discussed include:
  • How do we define Generation Y - the Millennials?
  • Do they differ in from one country to the next?
  • What are innovative strategies to connect with and recruit these students?
  • How will they perform in the workplace? How do you retain the talent?
  • What creative compensation strategies and incentive packages resonate with Generation Y?
